Bankakuso Honpo
Bankakuso Honpo
Founder Ban Kakujiro was born in 1875 (Meiji 8). He spent two and a half years in Toyohama, Minamichita-cho, Aichi Prefecture, learning the techniques of shrimp cakes as a training servant. In 1889 (Meiji 22nd year), he established the Bankakuso Honpo in Yokosuka (now Tokai City, Aichi Prefecture).
Now, by producing and selling seafood-based confections, Bankakuso Honpo is carrying out activities to protect the global environment, focusing on shrimp, which is a blessing of nature, and fulfilling their social responsibility as a symbiotic company here on Earth.
As the name suggests, the shrimp senbei "Yukari" acts as a representative product and is intended to help the world by providing a gift service that connects people through their important "relationships." This brand will continue to pursue Ban Kakujiro's unique "products of the highest quality" and create the values that our customers want, such as not only deliciousness, but also a sense of giving culture and health.
In keeping with their founder's spirit of "pleasing people," their greatest joy is pleasing their customers, and they strive every day to hone our passion to provide the best service.
