To open the compact, open the lid, hold both sides firmly with your hand wrapped around it, and gently press the center of the inner lid with the opposite hand while pulling up the tab.

Right after opening the pouch, you may notice a strong scent on the puff, but it will lessen over time if left in a ventilated area.
