Zefnart Cream 2% is a topical antifungal medicine used to treat fungal skin infections (tinea/ringworm infections). Its active ingredient is liranaftate, a thiocarbamate-type antifungal agent.
It is commonly recommended for people who struggle with recurring athlete’s foot (“water bug” infection), stubborn fungal infections that do not improve, or those who find twice-daily treatments difficult to maintain. Zefnart is specifically for tinea (dermatophyte) infections. It is not intended for:
