Figures are a great way to decorate your space with a bit of flair from your favorite series or tv show, from nostalgic classics to modern hits. However, figures can sometimes be expensive or take up a lot of space.
That being said, some Japanese brands are dominating their own share of the figure market with products that are both affordable and easy to incorporate into your everyday life. One of our favorites is Re-Ment, the Japanese figure and miniature company that casual anime and kawaii enthusiasts love!
Who is Re-Ment?

Re-Ment, short for “Reform the Entertainment”, is a Tokyo-based brand that makes and sells miniature figures, including anime characters, kawaii characters, food, furniture and more. They’re also known to make some phone charms and magnets as well.
The “Reform the Entertainment” idea comes from their desire to innovate the world of toys and figures which (we think) they accomplish with amazing detail in both their design and execution and their high quality.
They’re especially well known for their collabs and character miniatures and their terrarium series, both of which often feature character favorites in cool, intricate situations or environments. They’re also famous for their Puchi Petite (also known as Puchi Sample) series, which is made up of miniature foods.

On top of those, they often have full sets of mini-furniture, usually inspired by kawaii characters, living spaces or shops and restaurants. You can also find our favorite product, desk figures. These “desk figures” work two-fold, doubling as a fun character figure and a desktop organization tool, like a Yu-Gi-Oh! memo pad holder or a My Hero Academia pen holder.
The only downside is that most of their products are blind boxes. This makes it really exciting to open up a box and seeing what you get out of the varieties of a certain product.
On the other hand, if you’re looking for a very specific figure, you might have to get more than one box. And if you’re looking for a whole set, the only guarantee is to ask for the whole box.

Like we talked about earlier, our favorite products from them are the super practical desk figures. They often feature popular characters in different settings that double as a desktop organizer. For example, the Hunter X Hunter-inspired Desktop X Hunter 5 set features the Zoldyck family and includes things like a Killua pen stand, an Illumi multi-tray and a Silva smartphone tray. The great thing about Re-Ment is that they often release their figures in sets that include anywhere between six and eight different variations! “Regular” figure sets, like the cute Pokémon Neon Party set and the Crayon Shinchan Snack Figure set, are great for straight-forward (but very cool) figure collection.
However, they also have unique variations on the standard figure, like their hanging figures that feature characters hanging in realistic scenes. The Swing Kirby in Dream Land set and the Pokémon Swing Vignette set are both great examples of their hanging figures!
Their terrarium options, like the Crayon Shinchan ‘Every Day is Fun!’ or the Pokémon Terrarium EX Paldea series, are a really unique way to enjoy and collect figures! One of our favorite things about Re-Ment is how affordable their figures are. They’re a great way to get your hands on some merch to rep your favorite show or characters without breaking the bank.
